We invest in founders we love. We invest before the impact of their progress is clear to most people. We are active, early stage investors who bring our contacts, coaching and perspectives to the table with the intent of making them deliver more value than the checks we write.

We live by the notion that tough times don't last but tough people do. At the stage in which we invest, not all businesses flourish but our relationships with the founders we support usually do...for years.  

Our exits often occur by selling our shares to subsequent, vertical specific VCs who can provide more value going forward than we can. If we have board seats or observer rights, we are happy to cede them to smarter, more well resourced investors.
